Investment Strategy

VMF will seek to build an overall portfolio with:

• Investments that are mainly in Michigan-based companies which have a demonstrated interest in expanding into Michigan or have significant operations and experience within the State;
• Investments that are mainly placed through Michigan focused and based private equity funds;
• Investments that are mainly made in funds that intend to invest in venture capital or growth capital stage companies; and
• Funds that intend to make investments that could ultimately benefit start-up companies coming out of Michigan universities and colleges.
